Ireland launched the National Blue Schools Network in 2021. The Network is open to all schools, who are currently carrying out marine educational activities or would like to incorporate ocean content into their school’s curriculum and learning. The network will help to highlight all the ongoing marine work in Irish schools and educational facilities available to schools and provide guidance for those who want to get involved.

It will also help support classes and students that want to link to schools and educators around the Atlantic region.
