Portugal has the pioneer experience of being the first country to develop and implement a Blue School concept and program. After five years of implementation and continuous improvement, the Portuguese Blue School network comprises more than 310 schools and 100 partnerships.

Portuguese Blue Schools are available to actively collaborate and exchange experiences with the other Atlantic Blue Schools.
